Founded in 1967, the Mission Ridge Ski Team (MRST) has established itself as a prominent training ground for ski athletes in the United States and Canada. Initially aimed at developing young racers, the team has grown to support athletes at all levels, from beginners to those on the U.S. Ski Team. In 2006, MRST incorporated as the Mission Ridge Ski Education Foundation (MRSEF), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality training and competition experiences. The team emphasizes not only athletic development but also the cultivation of sportsmanship and community involvement, fostering well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to their communities.
 
MRST's mission is to equip athletes with the skills necessary to reach their full potential both in competitive skiing and in life. The program aspires to create a supportive environment that nurtures a passion for skiing while promoting character development. By partnering with athletes and their families, MRST ensures that participants gain valuable life skills alongside their athletic training. The organization values sportsmanship, camaraderie, and a culture of mutual respect, aiming to make ski racing a fun and enriching experience.
